Art Journal Tea Time
Sorry it took me a while to make a new post. I know there's people out there in blog land who post every day. I think for them it is like brushing their teeth. It must be in their system... I admire that, but for me making art is part of my system. I really have to make time to take pictures and make posts.
I also must admit that my energy level has been quite low the past few months due to joint pain. It gives me sleepless nights and concentration problems. What helps me relax is making art. So back to making art.
In October I did manage to give an Art Journal Workshop. The workshop was a one-on-one and she made lovely papers. As an example of what she could do with those papers I made a sort of template. I cut the outline of a teapot and the words tea time out of black paper. Behind it I used gelli prints and scrapbook paper.

I think making templates is a great way to use gelli prints, scrapbook paper and other papers. Above Art Journal page is part of the spread below. The left page is scrapbook paper. I cut out two leaves and used the space for journaling.

In my next post I'll show you another way to use your gelli prints and other papers.
Thanks for stopping by!
